Jim Osterlund has given a link to a useful Google map marking where the
Ross's Gull has been seen. This may be of some assistance to Ontario
birders crossing the border to New York. When crossing the border, bring
photo-ID and a birth certificate, or a passport.

Following is Jim's post to NYBirds.

Good birding!
Willie

With considerable help from Jim Pawlicki, Willie D'Anna and David Wheeler,
I've worked up a map of the area in question. Bear in mind it's a Google
map; you can zoom, change back and forth between satellite view and map,
etc.;  you'll find it at;
