Greetings birders,

Ron Pittaway's Winter Finches Forecast was/is right on the money.
The numbers of Pine Grosbeaks are way down...where I usually had 75+ visiting each day in previous winters..I am down to maybe 10 on a good day. The same can be said of Redpolls ( not one Hoary yet this season) . Some neighbours have the odd American Goldfinch..there are NO Evenings in my area at all.
Blue Jay numbers are still down but Gray Jays are up.
