After an unsuccessful try of spotting the male Harlequin Duck at Humber East
Park earlier today, Bev McDonald and I spent the late afternoon, from ~ 4:30 to
6 pm, watching it, the female and an immature, feeding along the south
shoreline between the east and west points of the park.
Humber Bay East Park is at the south end of Park Lawn Road. From the west, take
the Park Lawn exit off of the Gardiner; from the east, take the Lakeshore exit
to Park Lawn. Take the
first right turn to the parking lot.
