Many afternoons, as I come home from work, I see a northern shrike in a
maple tree just east of Courtice. It's usually in one of the maple trees
on the north side of Highway 2 about a half km east of Courtice Rd. It's
there probably half the time I drive by.
Directions. Take the 401 east to Courtice road, and go north to highway
2. At the light, turn right or east, and look for the 20 foot maples along
the north side of highway 2 about half a km east of Courtice Road.
