This morning there was a pair of wigeons at the west end of the High Bluff Campground at Presqu'ile Park. The drake was a Eurasian Wigeon, but the pair flew off (together) before I could identify the female as to species. Later in the morning a lone drake Eurasian Wigeon was among the many ducks at the end of Lilac Lane. It was also visible from the calf pasture viewing platform. Presqu'ile Park can be reached by following the signs from Brighton. Locations within the Park are shown on a map in the tabloid that can be obtained at the Park entrance. Lilac Lane is not marked on the map because it is technically not in the Park. It runs off Bayshore Road at 42 Bayshore Road.
