At 18.55, on Saturday, April 26th, A LITTLE BLUE HERON flew fast,
N/Eastward, 30 m over the heads of 3 observers (Ed, Bob & Michael), towards
the Hillman Marsh shorebird habitat (where it did not land). Thanks to Ed's
spotting, we had 4 seconds of observation, this writer quickly called it a
Little Blue & the others didn't disagree.

This writer headed alone into the shorebird cell to scope 62 Willets. From
the Hillman parking lot, at 19.25, the Little Blue could be seen flying a
circular pattern over the Chesterfield Memorial Bench area & approached to
within 200m in good sunlight, then flapped & soared at an elevation of 150
m, N/E & out of sight towards Wheatley.

Hillman Marsh is due East of Leamington & S/W of Wheatley.
