The Mottled Duck was briefly seen in flight with two other ducks at about 8 p.m. and appeared to settle in Hillman Marsh but *not* in the shorebird impoundment area. A Cattle Egret also flew in to roost in the marsh with the gulls from the corn stubble field to the south of the impoundment area.
Dean Ware was going to leave some cracked corn out to hopefully attract the ducks closer in for tomorrow. Good luck!
