Hi everyone from the Brighton wetlands, so far this year birding in the wetlands has been very interesting, for me and a lot of new people that have come out to see what we are all about, this has been a great experience for them and myself, so lets keep it going, anyone new to birding and those who help us newbie's I will be open as usual Friday June 6th from 5 PM to 7 PM and Sunday June 8th from 10 AM to 12 PM, note the slight time change for Sunday most of you sleep in (lol), I will more than likely be there at 9, if not slightly after.
So far this year I have had visitors from Russia and Florida, see you there, as before if you can not make these times please lat me know and I will make every effort to accommodate your request, please try to give me some advanced notice, e-mail or phone I will reply. Cell # 613-391-9142 Home # 613-475-0881 Directions: The Constructed Wetland is located at the SE corner of Brighton. From Hwy 401, take the Brighton exit (Hwy. 30)and follow it south into town. Go south through the two traffic lights, over the railway tracks and follow the main road, now called Prince Edward Street, south. About 1 km south of the tracks, the main road begins to swing to the left and becomes Cty. Rd. 64. As this long turn ends, the constructed wetlands appear on the right side. There is room to park on the edge (shoulder) of the road, but use your own judgment.
