Hey folks. I've had a yellow-bellied flycatcher calling a flitting around my backyard in southern Etobicoke since 6am this morning (is still here at 11:30am after returning from some bird surveys). New yard bird! It's doing the uncharacteristic call... eg. not the Least Flycatcher sounding type... I'll have to look up what to call this. Perhaps it's just the "call" or "chip" note as opposed to the "breeding-type call"? Directions: 426 Valermo is located in South Etobicoke just south of the gardiner expressway, continue south on the 427 till it merges with Brown's Line.
