This morning I found a juvenile BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE in the pond (6th) furthest from the usual entrance at County (CTY) Rd 7.

To get to the bird faster I recommend you enter through the second gate.
From here the kittiwake is found in the pond closest to the gate.

Finally I took a nice picture of a rarity. This time it is not just a cheap documentation shot. See photo here:

If you scroll down a bit you will see a few so-so flight shots of a juvenile kittiwake I photographed yesterday in Ottawa.

DIRECTIONS:

From exit 66 on HWY 417 go south towards St-Albert (and pass it) along CTY
Rd 7 until you reach the turn off to CTY Rd 5. Turn left (east) and go about 1.5 km along CTY Rd 5 and then turn left at 1521 Cty Rd 5 (there used to be a Bob's Antenna sign here). Go about 1 km down a dirt road until you get to the lagoon gate. The kittiwake is a few seconds away. Please note that Cty Rd 5 becomes Cty Rd 12 SDG once you have crossed the county lines. Good luck!
