Hi,
Doug Sadler, a very well-known Peterborough naturalist, writer, educator
and former F.O.N. president, passed away yesterday at the age of 92. People are
invited to come to the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield on Thursday August 21,
2008 from 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Doug's Life will be held in the HENDREN
CHAPEL on Friday August 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow in the
Heritage Room of the funeral home. Cremation. Memorial donations may be made to
Peterborough Field Naturalists or Ontario Nature as expressions of sympathy.
