It was a quiet day at Cranberry with the south/southeast winds bringing few
hawks - 1 Cooper's Hawk, 5 Sharp-shinned Hawks and 2 Osprey were found along
with 60 other species including a Blue-winged Warbler, a Blue-grey Gnatcatcher,
a Veery and a Marsh Wren. Non-avian highlights included a Least Skipper and two
Pearl Crescents and many Green Darners and Common Whitetails.

Cranberry Hawk watch is located at south platform at the south end of Hall's
Road in Whitby. Exit 401 at Salem Rd and go south to Bayly/Victoria St and then
east to Hall's Road and then south to the viewing area.
