IT WAS WONDERFUL TO HAVE HEATHER WITH US. Unfortunately a muggy 4 hours with
very little wind did not bring in many migrating raptors. I ALSO ENJOYED
TALKING WITH 20+ KEEN VISITORS.
Weather; Sunny, Bar.pr.falling; TUV=2; temp. 25C; very light S wind
Raptors moving westward over our heads were--5 OSPREYS, 2 SHARP-SHINNED AND 1
COOPER'S
Non-raptor Observations: 33 r-t Hummingbirds, Baltimore oriole, rose-breasted
grosbeak, least flycatcher, great crested flycatcher, GREAT EGRET,
warblers-C.yellowthroat, yellow, Yellow-rrumped, Magnolia,.Wilson's, MOURNING;
>From the 401 eastbound, exit at Salem Rd. in Ajax, south to Bayly, the east
>through Lakeridge Rd. to the first street beyond-Hall's Rd.--south toward the
>lake to the second roadside parking area. From the 401 westbound--exit at
>Brock St. in Whitby, south to Victoria St., west right through to Hall's Rd.
