Greetings,
Between 9 and 11am this morning, a juvenile Western Sandpiper and male
Prairie Warbler were seen at Owen Point.
The western fed with several Least and Semi. Sandpipers in a growing
collection of shorebirds that included several Baird's Sandpipers and a
juvenile Stilt Sandpiper.
The prairie showed well in the young willows at Owen Point amongst several
other warblers.
With increasing numbers of shorebirds and a several songbird flocks seen
daily, the Presqu'ile OFO walk this Sunday has the potential to be a stellar
outing.
Presqu'ile is well signed south of the Brighton/Campbellford exit off the
401.
Cheers,

Don and Ian Shanahan
Brighton
