Hello All A Red-necked Phalarope was seen at Owen Point at Presqu'ile Provincial Park by various observers yesterday afternoon and by myself at about 7:00pm. The bird usually stayed briefly with the other shorebirds at the point then flew to Gull Island. Access to Gull Island is restricted until Thursday and at that time will require a wet crossing. The way to Presqu'ile is clearly signed south of Brighton.
