Weather:
Mostly sunny skies prevailed throughout the day with late day cloud moving
in ahead of a system forecast to bring rain into the area overnight. Winds
were light north-northwest early in the day switching to light to moderate
from the east by late morning.

Raptor Observations:
The day was largely dominated by TVs as might be expected at this juncture
of the season. The flight was a bit slow in getting started with the light
and variable winds early in the day. Some large kettles were seen in late
morning but the flight of vultures after that point was fairly modest
especially compared to yesterday’s late day movement with much of the
activity to the north of the count area.

Non-raptor Observations:
There was a bit of warbler variety around today including Nashville and
Black-throated Green along with a very cooperative Blue-headed Vireo.
