An early Snowy Owl is sitting on the rocks just west of the harbour entrance
in Cobourg today at 1pm.
Not the earliest record for Northumberland, which was October 10 1984, but
close!

Directions:
Exit Hwy.401 at Division Street, Exit 474, and drive south to the harbour.
If the bird remains where it is now it will be easiest seen by driving out
on the east pier, otherwise there is free parking on the west side of the
harbour.
