Weather:
Sunny skies persisted throughout the day today with only a bit of high
con-trail generated cloud cover. Winds were light to moderate southwest to
south-southwest.

Raptor Observations:
A fair migration was recorded during the morning and early afternoon but
much of the flight was well to the north of the count area. Quite a steady
flow of Red-tails were seen from late morning until mid afternoon along
with another good showing for Golden Eagles. Interestingly, in addition to
a couple of migrants, a foraging Osprey was seen still lingering in the
area for part of the day.

Non-raptor Observations:
Another small group of Sandhill Cranes (6) were seen today along with a
single Snow Bunting and a couple of Purple Finches. The early part of the
day saw a continuous flow of migrating blackbirds, mostly Red-wings and
Rustys.
