Weather:
Today saw a mix of sun and cloud with heavier cloud cover moving into the
area during the afternoon as a warm front approached from the west, a
system forecast to bring rain into the area overnight and into tomorrow. A
few sprinkles were felt during the afternoon. Winds were moderate to fairly
strong east becoming south-southeast by midday.

Raptor Observations:
There was considerable movement early in the day that continued even with
the advancing cloud cover, tapering off rather quickly by mid afternoon. As
yesterday, much of the activity was in the form of Red-tails but
highlighted by a pulse of Golden Eagles and Rough-legs early in the day as
well as a high-flying Northern Goshawk.

Non-raptor Observations:
It was a fairly quiet day as far as non-raptor migration but a few Tree
Swallows were notedÂ…still looking for that first Cave.
