Hello Ontbirders. The Sabine's Gull was still present at Port Stanley Harbour today Nov 14. It was putting on a good display flying from the end of the pier to the Wharf restaurant and following the fishing boats into the harbour. Shay Redmond
Directions >From the 401 take highway 4, Colonel Talbot, south, following turns through west St. Thomas, heading south to Port Stanley. At the main intersection of town of Port Stanley, at the lights, head west over the lift bridge and take the first road south, which goes past cottages, grain elevators and into a large parking area on the west side of the harbour channel, near a cement breakwall. If you walk out on the breakwall you have a view of the inner and the outer harbour. Another view of the outer harbour can be obtained from the east side of the channel. That requires driving back over the bridge and turning right at the lights heading south until you can veer off to the parking area on the east side of the channel. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
