This morning and afternoon, Dave Moore, Liane O'Keefe and I saw 3 Purple Sandpipers on Snake island. We also observed single Snoy Owls on both Pigeon and Salmon island
Directions: Take Sir John A. MacDonald Expressway south off the 401 at Kingston. Go to its end, turn Right on King st. Go to the first set of traffic lights, turn left onto Yonge ST. Turn left into Portsmouth Olympic Harbour - go to area overlooking Lake Ontario. Snake Island is just visible about 3-4 km to the SW. Pigeon Island is not visible from the Kingston Shore. Chip
