The hummingbird in the Town of Orchard Park has been expertly identified as a RUBY-T. HUMMINGBIRD, possible a juvenile. First reported November 7, the bird was still present on the 18th, and represents the region's first November record of RUBY-T. HUMMINGBIRD.

On the lower Niagara River, first report of GLAUCOUS GULL November 16 at the power plant overlook in Ontario, along with ICELAND GULL and 2 THAYER'S GULLS. LITTLE GULLS were found at Queenston and Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.

November 18, 159 TUNDRA SWANS on the upper Niagara River at the Beaver Island State Park beach on Grand Island.

A watch over Lake Ontario on November 16 reported flights of REDHEAD, GREATER SCAUP, WHITE-WINGED SCOTER, LONG-TAILED DUCK, BUFFLEHEAD, COMMON GOLDENEYE and RED-BR. MERGANSER, plus RED-THROATED LOON, COMMON LOON, HORNED GREBE, D.-CREST. CORMORANT, DUNLIN, SNOW BUNTING and LAPLAND LONGSPUR.
