A cloudy, morning with light W wind, 2C to 6C, rising BP, and low thermals
(TUV=1)--conditions that spell a low migratory raptor flight--indeed, I counted
only 7 (SEE TABLE BELOW) ; an imm.NORTHERN GOSHAWK perched nearby--several of
us felt that it was a different from the one seen 2 days ago--this one had more
belly streaking.

The official end of CMRW will be Sunday, Nov.30--I thank the very many who have
come down to help--we will have put in over 410 hours during 110 days.

Between 1100 and 1130, in the cornfield on the west side of Hall's Rd. --3
SANDHILL CRANES--they eventually flew off to the west.

AMONG THE NON-RAPTORS near the platform--- 90+ WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS, in 3
flocks, the larger being 60+; imm. N. SHRIKE; 7 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS (one of which
is a young one that has dark eyes); HOUSE FINCH; white-throated sparrow.

OVERHEAD- 2 Cackling Geese among hundreds of Canadas

On the lakerfront-- Common Mergansers, Buffleheads, Common Goldeneyes,
Long-tailed Duck
