I saw the Owl George Talusan reported this a.m. at 11:17. Ron Pittaway joined me 30 mins. later, and we observed it for another 30mins. The owl is heavily streaked. Ron doubted if there was any food in the immediate area.
Directions: It is about half a km south of Eglinton just east of Lebovic Ave. which is at the Eglinton Town Centre. The owl is perched on top of a tall blue light standard in the shipping/receiving lanes on the west side of Rona Home & Garden centre. Across the street on the west side is a huge TTC yard, which is behind (south of), the Cineplex theater.
