The hawk-owl was still present on Ridge road just west of the 2 log homes on the north side west of the Vankleekhill sales barn as of 4:30 Dec.16.It was actively hunting from the tall tree tops on both sides of the road. Hans van der Zweep Ridge Road is the 1st road north of Hiway 417 and Hiway 34.The sales barn is visible at a distance from 34 looking west when going north from 417 towards Vankleekhill. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
