The 32nd Burk's Falls CBC was held on Tuesday, Decembr 14 with total of 35 species and 3114 individuals.
The count highlights are 3 Canada Goose -- 3rd time on count 1 Bufflehead - 2nd time on count 2 Wild Turkey - first time on count 2 Belted Kingfisher - 2nd time on count and new high 3 Golden-crowned Kinglet - lowest number since 1999 442 White-winged Crossbill - 4th highest every, 1175 Common Redpoll - highest ever 1 Hoary Redpoll No hawks or gulls were found due to early December freeze-up and deep snows.
