This afternoon I saw a 1st-year Golden Eagle hunting along Concession 11 at
17th Sideroad, north of Cold Creek, near Bolton. At one point, it dove down
into a gully and flushed up 9 Wild Turkeys. I have 4 distant photos of the
eagle below.
Also saw a dark-morph Rough-legged Hawk in the area. Near Tullamore on
Torbram Road (n. of Mayfield Rd.) was a flock of Snow Buntings.
Several WW Crossbills also seen. There are many in the Bolton area.
