Located the Northern Hawk Owl on Cameron Side Road (previously reported Dec
19th) this morning. Dec 23rd. I also received a report it had been seen
yesterday, Dec. 22nd. In the same tree ( a large deciduous tree) 5 Pine
Grosbeaks, and a short piece down the road a flock of about 25 Snow Buntings.
On the Christie Lake Road 1 km east of Dewitts Corners a Cooper's Hawk had
disturbed a large flock of Rock Pigeons from the roof of a silo, and even
further east a Red-tailed Hawk flew offf..
Cameron Sideroad goes between Hwy 7 and Christie Lake Road about 12 km west
of Perth.
The hawk owl was closer to Hwy 7.
