Hello Fellow Birders, The Red Bellied Woodpecker is very shy but does for short moments stop in on the feeder.
For the first time in my own backyard I sighted 5 White Winged Crossbills in the top of the Blue Spruce in my backyard picking away at the cone seeds. With all the Pine Siskins, Common Redpolls, American Gold Finches, Juncos, Blue Jays, Northern Cardinals, Brown Headed Cow Birds, Downy & Hairy Woodpeckers, Black Capped Chickadees, moles & voles and a Red Tailed Hawk perched on a high branch behind my house above Graham Creek by the Kaitlain subdivision I had a great view from my hot tub outside this morning in -15 C. (Not to forget 5 squirrels black, grey & red.) Directions: Take 440 exit off 401 and drive down towards the lake till you get to # 590.
