Today Ian Cannell and I birded the Niagara River from Niagara-on-the lake to 
Chippawa and below are the highlights of the day.

1 California, 5 Glaucous, 12 Iceland, 4 Lesser black-backed, 2 Thayer's, and 
500 Bonaparte's Gulls, 1 Purple Sandpiper, 3 Tufted Titmice, 4 Red-bellied 
Woodpeckers, 40+ Pine Siskins, 57 White-winged Crossbills, 1 N. Mockingbird, 26 
Cedar Waxwings, Both Nuthatches and 150+ A. Robins.

 We checked some feeders at Niagara-on-the-Lake and Chippawa and the river at 
Queenston and Niagara.
