This morning there is a bright male yellow bellied sapsucker on one of my suet bags. Last nights snow & wind has brought lots of birds to the feeders, incl. 200+ siskins, 20 cardinals, flocks of juncos, goldfinch, 2 red bellied woodpeckers, a few redpolls & others.
This is the first time I've seen the sapsucker this year. We're located at 905 Conc. Rd. 6, just west of the Village of Walsingham (Hwy #59), about 15 km north of Long Point.
