Hi folks: Today just before noon, there was a small group of White-winged Crossbills (five males) feeding near the north end of the Glencedar Bridge, between the bridge and the intersection of Strathearn and Glencedar, and a similar group cleaning up a big spruce on the east side of Chiltern Hill between Ava and Avenal--both locations are in the Cedarvale area, south and west of Bathurst and Eglinton. My forgiveness to the dog-walker who assured me "With all due respect" that I was just seeing Cardinals!
