Hello, Thanks to Bruce's note yesterday I left work early today and saw a Great Gray Owl and Great Horned Owl in the same area near Dunrobin. The Great Gray was at the corner of Thomas Dolan and 5th Line and the Great Horned was about 500 m east of that junction along 5th Line. Both birds were actively hunting at 5:30 pm when I arrived.
Directions: From Kanata (West of Ottawa), follow March Road to Dunrobin Road. Take Dunrobin Road to Dunrobin, turn right (towards the river), pass Constance Creek and arrive at 5th Line.
