Traveling south on Hwy. 45 today at 11:30 am towards Cobourg I found a dead
Boreal Owl lying on the east side of the road. It had a superficial wound
(probably from a crow) but other than that it was in pretty good condition.
The salvaged specimen will be taken to my friend, Mark Peck at the Royal
Ontario Museum and become part of their collection.

Lucky birding,
   Sarah
