This afternoon at 2:00pm a (Brian) a local birder pointed out a immature male King Eider resting on a small beach in the innermost cove on the east side of Colonel Samuel Smith Park. Apparently bird has been around for 3 or 4 days and seems quite content with his Mallard and Mute Swan neighbours. Colonel Samuel Smith Park is at the southern most end of Samuel Smith Pk Drive, which is the southern most extention of Kipling Ave ,in Etobicoke (West end of Toronto). Ample parking is available at the end of the road. Happy trails, Andy Tanas _________________________________________________________________ Windows Live Messenger.
