February 22, on Lake Ontario at Olcott Beach, an adult MEW GULL at the mouth of 18 Mile Creek. A distinctly different individual than the North American MEW GULL studied and photographed at Olcott on the 15th. Not all field marks were visible on the recent MEW GULL, but the marks seen indicated a possible European MEW GULL. Neither of these exceptional gulls have been relocated.

A very rare DICKCISSEL, a first winter male, has been at a feeder this winter on private property in the Town of Clarence. In Newfane, by Lake Ontario, two rare and declining RED-HEADED WDPKRS., on Cherry Croft Lane.

CROSSBILLS and 2 PINE SISKINS on Oak Orchard Road near the Bridges in the Town of Carlton. In a Williamsville yard this week, 12 WHITE-W. CROSSBILLS, 22 PINE SISKINS and 2 RED-W. BLACKBIRDS.
