Ontbirders:

Just an addition to D. Shanahan's report. The white Gyrfalcon was
perched in a tree on the west end of Knapp Point when I returned on the
3:30 pm ferry from Wolfe Island. There was a group of Greater
Scaup/Goldeneye swimming in a patch of open water near where the
Gyrfalcon was perched which may have attracted its attention. It was
somewhat of a closer view from when it was on the southwest end of
Garden Island but binoculars/scope were still necessary.

Directions and ferry schedule from M. Bain's post:

The Kingston ferry dock is at Barrack and Ontario Sts. in downtown
Kingston. The service is basically hourly but "on-the-hour" and
"on-the-half-hour" shifts through the day, so best to check the schedule
