Ontbirders This morning, shortly after 11:00 AM a group of us from the Pembroke Field Naturalists Club found the white Gyrfalcon perched on top of a tall tree on the southwest end of Garden Island, the small island visible on the west or right as the ferry approaches Wolfe Island. Another group of birders from Philadelphia also observed the bird.
Directions from Marysville: turn right as soon as you get off the ferry and proceed west for a couple of km. on HW 96.
