Last Sunday afternoon accidentally spotted gray bird, which turn out to be Loggerhead shrike. Never saw those guys before, luckily took couple shots and now can tell this was loggerhead shrike.
Bird allow me to stare at it from approximately 7 meters, but because it was sitting in heavy bushes identification and photography were hard task. Location: Bird was spotted at dense bushes at the most eastern entrance to Mud Lake, where small pond is, behind the fallen willow tree. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
