This morning at sunrise I counted at least 61 RNGRs within 100 m of the Lake
Ontario shoreline from the mouth of Highland Creek westward for about 500 m to
another small. Creek entering the Lake. By 815 there were still at least 20
very close to shore.

Directions: exit Hwy 401 at the
Morningside Exit, go south to Lawrence Ave. Go left (east) to Beechgrove Drive
(just before the bridge over Highland Creek), go right (south), follow it all
the way to the end, it'll make a left and right turn), until you come to the
Highland Creek treatment Plant at 51 Beechgrove Dr. Park in thelarge parking
lot south of the RR tracks. Follow the path/roadway on the left to the
lakeshore - best vantage point is from atop the Bluffs a bit to the west.
