I saw a single Chimney Swift flying over Lake Victoria in central Stratford
this afternoon. It seems a very early arrival. There were several Tree
Swallows as well.

Other species seen in the last few days in the Lake Victoria area include
Hermit Thrush, Barn Swallow, Pine and Yellow-rumped Warbler, Ruby-crowned
Kinglet, Pied-billed Grebe, Bufflehead, and Winter Wren.

Lake Victoria can be reached from Ontario Street (Hwy 7/8) by heading North on
Front Street then turning right on Lakeside Drive. Lots of parking is
available there.
