Dan Salisbury & I saw the Lark Sparrow this Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m.. near
the barn on
Tyneside Road. It was feeding on the ground in front of the barn; and sang a
few times from
various tree perches around the home. Go get it.

Directions
Take Hwy 6 south almost to Caledonia. Turn left at the stoplight at
Haldimand Regional Road 66. There is a sign for Ruthven just before it.
Regional Road 66 comes to a T. Turn left at the T and this is a
continuation of Regional Road 66. Take this around a large curve to the
first major road which is Tyneside , park or turn on Tyneside and park. The
bird was near a barn with hay, cattle, and small-wheeled farm equipment
some 60 m west of the T-intersection (on Tyneside) near the white farm house on
the northwest corner of Tyneside and Regional Road 66 .
