There were lots of migrants recorded on the island today by a variety of observers and many new arrivals were reported. While activity was light at Fish Point in the morning, 5 Willets were noted at the tip. At least twenty-three warbler species were found including KENTUCKY, CERULEAN and ‘BREWSTER’S’ WARBLER at Middle Point Woods, along with 2 HOODED WARBLERS. Additional species of interest included a number of BLUE-WINGED WARBLERS, 2 WHITE-EYED VIREOS, and a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pelee Island Heritage Centre West Dock, Pelee Island, Ontario, N0R 1M0(519) 724-2291 The Heritage Centre is open from 10 am - 5 pm daily.
