Look out at the far break wall. If the Brown Pelican is near the left (west) end of the far break wall to get a closer look ---- From the Pier turn right on Lake Shore Drive. After a little more than a mile turn Right on POINT DRIVE going to where it starts to make a left turn look right across the beach towars the far break wall. Some people have walked the beach then the breakwall back to the white with red rangelite at the harbor entrance. From there the pelican is only about 50 yards distance.
