Hi Ontbirders

Yesterday (July 10th), at around 3pm, there was a Brant grazing on the lawn and
started to swim away from me in one of the ponds nearest the river at Andrew
Haydon Park - Ottawa. I was very surprised to see it, my third
time seeing Brant in Ontario! Also, at Brittania, I saw Spotted
Sandpiper,Pied-Billed Grebe and a few of the more common warblers.

Directions to Andrew Haydon Park:

From the Highway (417) take exit 129 (Pinecrest Road). Go north onto Pinecrest
Road to Carling Avenue. Turn left  (west) on Carling and turn right on Holly
Acres into Andrew Haydon Park.
