Hi to all from the wetlands, Junior and Hunter are only days away from flight
trying their wings in between the constant incoming of food from the parents
you can usually see one of the parents just of the right of the nest in the tree
which would be very visible even from the viewing platform, the Rails all have
young,
and I have found another pair in the south cell near the Osprey nest pole,
shore birds are starting to show up in the now shallow water of the wetland.

Since almost all of the visitors I am getting are on Sundays I will be cutting
back on the Friday nights unless I get confirmation of anyone wishing to
visit. Please don't hesitate to call or e-mail

I will be open on Sundays from 9 to 11 AM, until further notice.

Directions: The Constructed Wetland is located at the SE corner of
Brighton. From Hwy 401, take the Brighton exit 509 (Hwy. 30) and follow
it south into town. Go south through the two traffic lights, over
the railway tracks and follow the main road, now called Prince Edward
Street, south. About 1 km south of the tracks, the main road begins
to swing to the left and becomes Cty. Rd. 64. As this long turn
ends the Constructed Wetlands appear on the right side. Look for the
Wetland viewing sign at the east end of the Wetland.
Parking is on the shoulder of the road, please do not drive in.
Thanks everyone
