On Saturday afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised to see a Carolina wren
foraging, for a short time, on the ground at the base of the feeder in my
sister's yard in Lisle, a small town near Barrie. Unfortunately, I did not have
a camera with me to take photos, however the field marks were unmistakeable, as
was its habit of constantly jerking its upturned tail.
