I saw 3 Great Egrets along the North Thames river trail in Mitchell today. They
were about 500 m north of the main bridge.

At the nearby West Perth Wetlands there were good number of shorebirds -
Semipalmated Plover, Killdeer, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Solitary
Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper, Semipalmated Sandpiper, and Short-billed Dowitcher.

West Perth Wetlands are on the south side of Mitchell. From Hwy 7/8 (Ontario
St) travel south on Wellington Street to Frank Street, cross the road and park
beyond the bal field.
