Silver Lake in Port Dover has reduced water levels & is now excellent for
shorebirds.Today there were 100 plus killdeer,4 pectoral,6 semipal.sand,15

Giving directions from Hamilton, take hwy.#6 to Lake Erie at Port Dover.
At the second traffic light (there are only two)turn right (north), drive a
couple of blocks to St.Patrick St. & turn left. Within a block you will begin
to see Silver Lake on the right. Park by the soccer field & walk west along the
lake. The best muddy edge is at the west end of the lake where the godwit was.
