Geoff Carpentier, who is camping at Presqu'ile for the weekend and does not have access to a computer, asked me to report that the possible Western Sandpiper that he saw early this afternoon was confirmed by him at around 6 p.m. today. It was at beach 3, along with the previously reported two Long-billed Dowitchers, Buff-breasted Sandpiper, and four Stilt Sandpipers. Except for the dowitchers, the others flew off when a Peregrine Falcon came by. Presqu'ile Park is south of Brighton and is well signed from the town. Beach 3 is well signed in the Park.
